Refund policy

Last updated: June 2026

At F&P Plumbing & Heating Ltd, we provide boiler cover plans on a monthly subscription basis. As our service is not a physical product, this policy outlines how cancellations, cooling-off periods, and refunds are handled.

1. Cooling-Off Period (14 Days)

You have the right to cancel your plan within 14 days of purchase.

If you cancel within this period:

  • You will receive a full refund, provided no service, inspection, or callout has taken place
  • If an engineer has already attended your property (including the initial inspection or service), a reasonable charge may be deducted from your refund to cover work carried out

2. Subscription Payments

All plans are billed monthly in advance.

  • Payments are non-refundable once the billing period has started
  • Your cover remains active for the duration of any paid billing period

3. Cancellations After 14 Days

After the 14-day cooling-off period:

  • You may cancel your plan at any time with 30 days’ notice
  • No refunds are provided for any unused time or partial billing periods
  • Your cover will remain active until the end of your notice period

4. Initial Inspection & Service

All plans are subject to an initial inspection and/or boiler service.

  • If your system is found to be unsuitable, unsafe, or not eligible for cover, we reserve the right to decline or cancel the plan
  • In such cases, you will receive a refund minus any work already carried out

5. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided where:

  • A claim or callout has already been made after the cooling-off period
  • The plan is cancelled after the 14-day period
  • Missed payments have resulted in cancellation of cover
  • The system is found to be non-compliant due to pre-existing issues
