Had a boiler installed today, service second to none. The apprentice that fitted the boiler under supervision was absolutely fantastic. Before the boiler was installed, I was in contact with another employee from the company that run me through every option before I opted for the installation with them. From day one when I spoke to the office until the work was completed I was told what they were doing. They cleaned up everything and I was left with a boiler that not only worked but I was confident with. I was treated with care and respect. The workmen were lovely. From when your cover starts to what happens if your boiler breaks down, here are the answers to the questions we're asked most often.
Bronze includes your initial boiler check and annual boiler service. Silver adds two callouts per year, boiler repair cover and up to 50% off parts, with no excess to pay. Gold provides our most comprehensive protection, with unlimited callouts, parts and labour included and cover for your full boiler and heating system, with no excess to pay.
Your first payment sets up your subscription, but your cover does not become active immediately. We'll first arrange an initial boiler check and service with an F&P engineer. Once your boiler has passed its initial check and been approved, your cover becomes active. Please note that claims cannot be made during the first 14 days after your cover becomes active.
There is no excess to pay on our Silver and Gold boiler cover plans.
If you're covered for the issue under your chosen plan, contact the F&P team and we'll arrange for one of our local engineers to help. The level of breakdown protection and number of included callouts depends on whether you have Bronze, Silver or Gold cover.
Your cover is provided by F&P Plumbing & Heating, so when you need help you're dealing with the same established local team that services and repairs heating systems across Birmingham and the West Midlands.
Every plan begins with an initial boiler check and service carried out by an F&P engineer. This allows us to check the condition of your boiler and make sure it can be accepted onto the cover plan before your cover becomes active.
Eligible customers can receive £750 towards a replacement boiler from F&P if their boiler cannot be repaired. This applies where the boiler is under 10 years old and has been serviced annually.
Yes. Additional cover options are available for parts of your heating setup such as controls, cylinders and the wider heating system. You can choose the additional protection you need when selecting your cover.
Your cover has an initial 12-month period. After that, it continues monthly.
Your cover is paid monthly. Your first payment sets up your subscription, with ongoing payments then collected monthly while your cover continues.
Cancellation is subject to the terms of your cover plan. Please refer to the full plan terms and conditions for the applicable cancellation terms, or contact the F&P team on 0121 330 0323 if you'd like us to explain them.
